(UPCOMING-Report to Follow) CP1 Member, Abel Q, is the 50th Korean
War Anniversary Community Chairman for the Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San
Benito Counties in California . They are celebrating Memorial Day on Monday,
May 26, big time. For the 50th Anniversary of the Korean War
we are placing a plaque at the Carmel. California City Park to Commemorate
that event. It will be listed with other commemoration sites around the world
dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the Korean War.
CP1
Korean Memorial Divison Member spent the first part of Memorial Day weekend,
steps
from Communist North Korea in the Joint Secuirty Area. (Not complaining,
but not too impressed with JRL's nice seats on Yongsan Parade Field.---What
can I say, we get old and become REMFs!!) More Info

Post Commander Fred Platt attended Memorial Day event at SOCOM. First
picture is GENs Aderholt and Singlaub with Post Commander Fred Platt (Call
sign: Magnet Ass, read the book to see why, but do not fly with him!) Gen
Aderholt was very famous for Air America and Gen Singlaub for his standing
up to politicals
who did
not
understand
the
Korean
situation.

Gen Aderholt, (Heinie) recieving an award. (I believe that USAF Gen served
in Korea recently, and he spoke at USMC Ball. (His mother and father were both
Marines!)
COL
Joe and Sherry Kittinger.
